Isn't this just spam with extra steps?
No. At most six people per job, each message written for that person, and you approve every one. Insiders choose to be contacted and set their own weekly limit. Anyone can opt out of all Warmline messages in one step.
Will my current employer find out?
Not from Warmline. Put your employer and its group companies on your “never contact” list and Warmline won't take on jobs there, so no one there is suggested or messaged. Your profile is never shown to other users; a referrer sees your kit only when you choose to send them a request.
How are referrers verified?
They confirm a 6-digit code sent to their work email at the company. Personal and disposable email domains aren't accepted. Their name stays hidden until they accept a request.
What do referrers get? Do they pay?
Referrers use Warmline free and keep their company's referral bonus. They get pre-screened finance candidates with everything their referral portal asks for, and they control how many requests they take.
Why upload my LinkedIn connections, and is it safe?
Your connections are the warmest path into most companies. You download the file yourself from LinkedIn (the app shows you how, step by step) and upload it; Warmline never logs in to LinkedIn. Only you can see it, and you can delete it any time.
Where do contact emails come from?
From your own LinkedIn export, from verified referrers who accept you, from people you add yourself, and, on Pro, from a licensed business-contact database. Addresses you add are checked for a working mail server and throwaway domains; looked-up addresses show how they were verified. Anyone who opted out is skipped.
Does it apply to jobs for me?
No. It gets you referred. You still apply, ideally through the referral your contact submits.

What counts as a search?
Adding one job: Warmline tailors your resume to it, finds the people and writes the drafts. Re-running a step on the same job, follow-ups and referral kits don't use another search. A verified contact lookup also uses one credit.
What file is my resume?
PDF or Word (.docx), whatever you already have, up to 4 MB. Scanned image PDFs can't be read, so upload the Word version or a text-based PDF.
Does Warmline read my Gmail?
No. If you connect Gmail, Warmline can only send the messages you approve. It cannot read your inbox.
